Proffitt’s Stage 3 Restored FJ40

It’s not very often that our stage three restorations come up for sale, especially when they are the more true-to-Toyota DNA restorations. As a matter fact, this is only the second mostly stock 40 series restoration that we have consigned in the last 10 years.  It was completed last year and the owner found that his intended use for the vehicle doesn’t really match what it’s built for. In his words, “It’s too nice for me to use the way I wanted to” This is not the first time that we’ve heard this from a client, and despite the fact that our restorations are actually meant to be driven, we couldn’t convince him to keep it and continue using it! In the end, though, his decision will be good for somebody else. This body-off FJ40 restoration is priced at approximately a 20% discount from the investment in the vehicle, not including the purchase price.  That, and it’s available immediately, forgoing the approximately 2 year wait.
