LS-Swapped 1985 BJ73 Land Cruiser

This modified BJ73 originally came from Spain and underwent extensive mechanical repair and modification by our friends at Tor Fab. Their build included a 6.2L ERod LS3 / 6L80E swap. It’s on its second owner since Tor did the work, with the current owner logging about 30K miles. It’s rare for me to inspect someone else’s custom work and be happy with it, but this is one of those times! Tor’s work is very good, and this Land Cruiser is dialed in mechanically. Numerous modifications plus the swap make this BJ73 very capable on and off road. The rig does have AC, but it’s currently inoperable. I’m sure we can correct this issue.

Cosmetically, the mid-wheelbase 70 Series could be better. It was refinished in Spain before import, and the paint wasn’t good to begin with, nor is it holding up well. The refinish is choppy and amateur. On the passenger side, there is significant body filler shrinkage and cracking. All of this is visible in the pictures.
