SoldFull vehicle description
This truck sold before I could even post it on the website, so rather than describe it, I’ll tell you the story of how this truck, and others like it came to be.
In 2009, we bought 55 of these bodies from a company based out of Dubai. They had set up a shop in Mexico manufacturing armored personal carriers for the Middle East. We worked with the company on disassembly and some other technical aspects of their product and wound up purchasing all of the surplus bodies. Over the years, we built 15 or 20 of these vehicles on different Land Cruiser chassis for clients. 60 series chassis, 80 series chassis, Toyota diesels and V8 gas engines were all used. A couple of the vehicles we built were high profile with probably the most famous being the red one we built for Cummins for the 2018 SEMA show.
When we joined forces with Larry H Miller, a dozen or so of the bodies were used as a display in the Land Cruiser heritage Museum. With a dwindling market for these trucks, several of the bodies were sold to companies in Canada for mine use.
A few years ago, only a few of these bodies remained in our inventory, and we sold one of them to the company that built this example.

Today we are getting more and more requests for these trucks, but the last two bodies are currently being built in the shop for clients at this time.
