This 1971 FJ40 Restomod is a body-off custom restoration done by Resurrection Land Cruisers and completed about 10 years ago. We built it for a long time owner who really loved the vehicle. He had a specific vision for it, to be on and off-road capable as he lives in California near the Rubicon Trail.
The build has an off-road focus with front and rear lockers, a 4:1 transfer case, winch, full cage, and more,  but the owner also wanted it to be highway friendly. The fuel injected Ram Jet 350 and five speed manual transmission, combined with an extended wheelbase, power steering, and improved suspensio allow it to be great on the road too. This build is a little dated compared to some of our current projects but still holds up really well.
