Have you heard the old saying “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? Well that saying goes both ways, and we see it often. That vehicle modification that one person does to his liking isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and the next owner wants it gone.
That’s what happened to the dash board layout of this FJ40. First completed here as a restomod for SEMA 2018, this completly custom FJ40 had a helicopter style dash that was definitely unique. We sold it for the original owner and the new owner wanted the dash more authentic. We were happy to oblige! The new dash is much more true to Toyota’s vision with the only custom feature being a set of Dakota Digital gauges
