A Frame Down Restoration
This FJ62 Land Cruiser came to us with a botched-up suspension conversion. We were going to try to redo the suspension work another shop had done, but it turned out that the frame was so badly damaged, it wasn’t really fixable. We instead chose to do one of our 80 Series frame conversions. This is an incredibly popular type of build with us, and there are many examples of this type of restomod in our restoration section.
While we had the vehicle, we rewired much of the engine conversion and other underhood wiring. We also replaced the seats with Scheel-Mann Vario XLs. As is standard with our restorations, we completed the interior by recovering the rear seat and all of the door panels with matching material.
