The non-refundable placeholder deposit that we take is not designed to deter people from dropping out of our queue.
It’s designed to prevent people from getting into our schedule frivolously or without the true intention to follow through with their project.
Before we started collecting such a deposit, our schedule couldn’t be trusted because too many people asked to be on it on a whim, and then later cancelled. That made it impossible to accurately estimate for our genuine customers when their slot in the schedule would open up. It also artificially extended the waiting period to where some people were choosing to take their Land Cruiser elsewhere. Our wait is long enough without this phenomena!
