1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Survivor

On consignment is this 1976 Fj40 that has survived the decades mostly un-modified and still with it’s original paint. This is one of those FJ40s that when you drive it, it kind of takes you back in time.

It’s rare to find a land Cruiser this honest. It is showing what rust that it has and nothing is hidden. overall, I would say the rust is average and relatively easy to deal with. Mechanically, the vehicle runs and drives. I’ve driven it about 10 miles and the only thing that jumped out was that some brake work is needed.

The biggest bummer on the Land Cruiser is the seats. Someone has replaced the original Fj40 bucket seats with something from a different car. This is one of my pet peeves. The original seats for this year 40 are not easy to come by. I do have a couple of sets that I have hoarded, and this Land Cruiser would be a worthy candidate for them.

The other bummer is of course the wheels, but that is already taken care of as there is a set of OEM disc brake wheels new in the box in the back.

This FJ40 runs and drives and is available for inspection and a test drive by appointment at the shop.

Asking Price is $28,500
