AvailableLS-Swapped 1985 BJ73 Land Cruiser
This modified BJ73 originally came from Spain and underwent extensive mechanical repair and modification by our friends at Tor Fab. Their build included a 6.2L ERod LS3 / 6L80E swap. It’s on its second owner since Tor did the work, with the current owner logging about 30K miles. It’s rare for me to inspect someone else’s custom work and be happy with it, but this is one of those times! Tor’s work is very good, and this Land Cruiser is dialed in mechanically. Numerous modifications plus the swap make this BJ73 very capable on and off road. The rig does have AC, but it’s currently inoperable. I’m sure we can correct this issue. Cosmetically, the mid-wheelbase 70 Series could be better. It was refinished in Spain before import, and the paint wasn’t good to begin with, nor is it holding up well. The refinish is choppy and amateur. On the passenger side, there is significant body filler shrinkage and cracking. All of this is visible in the pictures. This Land Cruiser is located at our shop and is available for inspection and test drive by appointment.
Available1988 Turbo Diesel Toyota Land Cruiser BJ71
Nicknamed “Toko Toko” this great little BJ71 is available on consignment First, a little history. The J70 is the short wheel base Toyota Land Cruiser model that replaced the 40 series worldwide (except here) Initially, Toyota offered the BJ l70 which used the legendary 3B naturally aspirated diesel engine. Believe it or not, this short wheel base J70 was offered with at least five different engine combinations. The most desirable by far would be this one, the BJ71 with the 13BT turbo diesel. The 13BT is very durable and actually quite powerful… and doesn’t come with the head gasket and overheating problems common with other four cylinder diesels of the time. Toko Toko’s last owner was an excellent steward of the Land Cruiser and was taking great care of this vehicle both mechanically and cosmetically. It is reliable and fun to drive. There are a couple areas of rust to deal with, the driver side A pillar and passenger side quarter panel, but neither is an emergency and the vehicle is very presentable. With good records and excellent owner documentation and notes, this BJ71 is a rare find.

Up for sale is our own wizard fabricator’s rock crawler. This project was a labor of love for over two years by a tremendously gifted employee. Like me, he would much rather build them than use them so shortly after this project was complete, he started his next project. All work and no play means this incredible rock crawler has really never been used. A staggering amount of effort goes into building something from scratch like this. Thousands of hours in fact. A custom crawler like this would cost 3-4X what it is available for here.
AvailableThe “FJ Pro” Custom S.A. Restomod FJ40
The FJ Pro Sometimes selling Land Cruisers is hard for me. I am put in a position where I need to advocate for both the buyer and the seller. It’s easy to do when the Land Cruiser is a legitimate survivor. Something like a low mile FJ40 or FJ60 that is appreciating. Those are the ones that are fun to sell because I can help the seller get what they’re looking for, but feel confident that the buyer is still getting a good value. Where it gets hard is when people ask me to sell resto-mods. Land Cruisers that have been modified or tailored to a specific individual’s taste are always harder to sell. Some modifications just aren’t for everyone, but it can be difficult to explain that to the seller, who obviously bought or built the vehicle for a reason (He / she liked it). It becomes even more difficult when the modifications weren’t done well. Enter, the FJ Pro. This is one of those Land Cruisers I was talking about above. Custom, and also from South America. Building something like this is an ambitious project. It can’t be pulled off without a lot of expertise, time, and effort by team of highly skilled people who also care. When you try to do something like this without those things, it can be a swing and a miss. The FJ Pro, this Land Cruiser project gone slightly awry, is a combination of a 4th gen 4Runner, and a 40 series Land Cruiser. The chassis is a blend of the two vehicles’ frames and I believe the body is an aftermarket four-door Land Cruiser body made in South America. It has a 4.0l Toyota V6 and automatic transmission. The suspension is mostly the 4Runner’s, with IFS upfront and a four link in back. This concept for this project was a cool idea, but the builders just didn’t have the skill set to pull it off well. The fit and finish of this vehicle is really bad. and there are tons of issues with wiring, routing, fabrication, trim work, and more. It is going to need a ton of work to become what the visionary behind it likely had in mind when they started. So why are we selling it? Because after all it is a Land Cruiser, and I do believe it has a place in the world somewhere. The right buyer might be someone who really likes to tinker and appreciates the head start that this vehicle gives them for far less money than it normally would cost. The buyer also might be a Hollywood producer, making a movie where the hero, driving a cool looking 40 series Land Cruiser, in the heat of a high speed chase, grabs the runner of a low flying helicopter in just the nick of time as the Land Cruiser drives off of a 1000 foot cliff where it crashes and then explodes in to a ball of flames. How we’re going to list this is with no asking price, rather we’re just going to let people make offers on vehicle. Obviously the owner isn’t going to sell it for pennies. (So no ridiculous low balls please) He has good money in it, plus what he spent to ship it to us, but he does expect a loss. Lastly, I am expecting this question so I will answer it here. “How much would it cost for you guys to just get it where it’s safe to drive?” We got it running again, but that’s where the work stopped. You don’t want to try to go down that road with us. Our brand won’t allow us to do it. We have exceptionally high quality standards, and this is one of those projects where bringing one or two things up to those standards but leaving the rest just isn’t an option. We would basically need to start completely from scratch and rebuild the vehicle using some of the parts. This is a project for a DIY kind of person. It does have potential, but you have to be the right person. Are you the one? This is when I wish I could allow comments on vehicle sales. I’d love to hear what you guys think about it. AvailableRestored HZJ77 Land Cruiser 70 series
Body Off Restored HZJ77 Hands down my favorite body style. This HZJ77 is the perfect blend of modern and classic. I get compliments everywhere I go. I purchased this HZJ77 from a client who had the project in progress at a different shop. That shop was doing a decent job, but was not able to complete the restoration so the client pulled it. I got it, and it sat around in my personal garage waiting for me to do it! It took a few years, but I finally got around to it and the project is now complete (mostly). I’ve been driving it and I really love it. To be honest, I hate the idea of selling it. Like I said, I’ve been really enjoying driving it and it would be a great addition to my personal collection. That being said, it’s a pretty redundant vehicle for me so I’m finally committed to letting it go. Available1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Survivor
On consignment is this 1976 Fj40 that has survived the decades mostly un-modified and still with it’s original paint. This is one of those FJ40s that when you drive it, it kind of takes you back in time. It’s rare to find a land Cruiser this honest. It is showing what rust that it has and nothing is hidden. overall, I would say the rust is average and relatively easy to deal with. Mechanically, the vehicle runs and drives. I’ve driven it about 10 miles and the only thing that jumped out was that some brake work is needed. The biggest bummer on the Land Cruiser is the seats. Someone has replaced the original Fj40 bucket seats with something from a different car. This is one of my pet peeves. The original seats for this year 40 are not easy to come by. I do have a couple of sets that I have hoarded, and this Land Cruiser would be a worthy candidate for them. The other bummer is of course the wheels, but that is already taken care of as there is a set of OEM disc brake wheels new in the box in the back. Available1986 Toyota Blizzard LD20 LX Turbo Diesel
This 1986 Toyota Blizzard is available for sale after being on display at the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Salt Lake City for the past decade. This unique little JDM vehicle turns heads everywhere it goes. It’s economical, and with the 2LT Toyota turbo diesel, and a 5 spd transmission, it’s quite sporty to drive. This Blizard sports its original paint and interior. Cosmetically, it still looks good even though there are a few areas of paint that are failing. The top that is on it isn’t the original one, and the rear window is cracked. Another top (possible the original one) is in the back and could be used as a pattern to make a new one. There is an area of rust that has been repaired on the rear floor board, but overall, this vehicle is very solid. Located at the shop, this Toyota Blizzard can be inspected and driven by appointment. Parts vehicle or keep it on the road? Too many Land Cruisers have been parted out. With each FJ40 or FJ60 that gets dismantled for parts, the vehicle we love gets rarer and rarer, and the price for the remaining ones keeps going higher. Just a decade ago, we would have scrapped this FJ60 for the parts it offers our earlier FJ40 restorations. I regret doing that. I’d like to see this FJ60 go to a good home. Update. The canvas top of this cruiser has failed and is basically in tatters. Price has been lowered Price is Call if interested! This FJ60 has lots of life left to offer someone. This HJ60 Land Cruiser is a good project for somebody wanting this classic model. It features some things you don’t get in an FJ60 like a fully floating rear axle and Toyota cable locking differentials. This Land Cruiser has been refinished in factory 033 white and there is some rust starting to show through. There is no drive train in the vehicle, however there is a new H55F Toyota 5 speed in a box in the back. It’s a pretty good start for a resto-mod project or maybe even just install a 2F with the five speed and start driving it. A hard one to let go of for its only owner, this Western Colorado 1977 Fj40 is on consignment for sale. It is mostly stock and has been at our shop for a handful of small things over the years including most recently, a knuckle rebuild and the installation of aftermarket fuel injection. it has rust on the rear sill, front fenders, and on the driver side door but despite that, I would still classify it in the “above average” category body wise. Like many Car builders do, as soon as he was finished with this one, he moved onto another, and sold it. We are consigning the vehicle for the second owner who really appreciates the vehicle, but finds it a little bit too built for his planned use for it. Sold1986 FJ60
60 series Land Cruisers are still in high demand, and I’ve noticed a void in the 60 series market. That void? The “decent” FJ60 or FJ62 that isn’t a total rust bucket, but also isn’t worth 35K plus. This 60 is one that falls in that void. It’s still almost all original and sports its original drivetrain and interior, both in good shape. There is some rust, but definitely not as bad as they get. This 60 is a good candidate for a restoration or would be great as a daily as is. Mileage is just under 200K Once word gets out on this one, it won’t last long. We haven’t given this 60 a mechanical inspection, but I’ve driven it and it runs and drives well. The AC doesn’t work, but it’s still the old Freon system and my guess is a retrofit to 134 and a charge is all it needs.
Sold1998 FZJ75 Land Cruiser Pickup
70 series Land Cruiser pickups are incredibly popular right now. This 1998, LHD GCC spec. version has a removable hardtop and is the last year of the model. When these trucks arrive in the United States, they are usually due some maintenance. The owner of this truck was attacking the needed attention. Among other things, he replaced the radiator and the transfer case. We have not given this truck a mechanical inspection, but my test drive for photography went well and I didn’t notice any immediate immediate needs. Of course, a mechanical inspection is available upon request.
Sold2009 HZJ79 / 80 series Custom Land Cruiser pickup.
This truck sold before I could even post it on the website, so rather than describe it, I’ll tell you the story of how this truck, and others like it came to be. In 2009, we bought 55 of these bodies from a company based out of Dubai. They had set up a shop in Mexico manufacturing armored personal carriers for the Middle East. We worked with the company on disassembly and some other technical aspects of their product and wound up purchasing all of the surplus bodies. Over the years, we built 15 or 20 of these vehicles on different Land Cruiser chassis for clients. 60 series chassis, 80 series chassis, Toyota diesels and V8 gas engines were all used. A couple of the vehicles we built were high profile with probably the most famous being the red one we built for Cummins for the 2018 SEMA show. When we joined forces with Larry H Miller, a dozen or so of the bodies were used as a display in the Land Cruiser heritage Museum. With a dwindling market for these trucks, several of the bodies were sold to companies in Canada for mine use. A few years ago, only a few of these bodies remained in our inventory, and we sold one of them to the company that built this example. If you’ve ever talked to me about one of these projects, I know you’ve heard me say the following fact. “These are definitely a lot more work than you think they would be” Today we are getting more and more requests for these trucks, but the last two bodies are currently being built in the shop for clients at this time. We would be happy to build you a custom vehicle like this. Sourcing bodies, even four-door ones is getting easier to do.
Sold1990 FJ75 Troopy, Troop Carrier Land Cruiser
On consignment is this 1990 FJ75 troopy. It has a 4.5L 1FZ and five speed transmission. We recently installed a new fuel pump and the vehicle runs and drives as well. The exterior was refinished by Starwood Motors in 2 part polyurea spray liner. This left-hand drive troopy features factory locking differentials.

Custom FJ43 This FJ43 is a Colombian restoration that we customized for a client. The cosmetic work was done in Colombia before it was imported. It was mostly stock mechanically when we started working on it. Although we haven’t performed any cosmetic work on the Land Cruiser, we’ve been through all of the systems mechanically and it’s basically completely new or rebuilt. The cosmetic restoration is typical for a S.A. import. Very a few miles have been put on it since the engine swap about 6 years ago. SoldUS Spec 1983 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser
1983 US FJ40 One of about 600 sold in the US in 1983. This survivor FJ40 (on consignment) still has most of its original paint with only the top being refinished at some point . There is some rust on the body but certainly less than average. Like too many 40s, somebody got their hands on it early and cut the rear quarter panels for flares. This is a bummer but certainly reversible. for some reason when the top was painted, the interior of the 40 was sprayed with two part poly urea spray liner. It appears to be professional high pressure spray application. Mechanically the Land Cruiser runs and drives well. We haven’t given it any kind of mechanical inspection, but we will be happy to do so on request This FJ40 is at the shop and available for test drive and inspection by appointment.
